Project Overview

Mermaid Friends is a personal packaging design project created for a conceptual doll line that celebrates friendship and play under the sea. The goal was to design packaging that instantly communicates the whimsical underwater world of the dolls while appealing to children who are drawn to cute, imaginative characters.

Design Approach
The design direction combined bright aquatic motifs with kawaii-inspired illustration to capture the joy and fantasy of the mermaid world. I developed a color palette of soft corals, ocean blues, and pastel accents to evoke an underwater atmosphere that feels friendly and inviting.
